Online Poker: Pokerstars doing well while Full Tilt is in trouble

After getting seized by the FBI, there have been stories that are spreading all over the news this week that Full Tilt Poker's license got suspended by their regulating body, the AGCC or the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. This is a shocking scenario for the Full Tilt Poker because they have not yet recovered from the trouble they've had just a few months ago. However, this thing did not affect the world of online casino gaming that much, because while they're in deep trouble, PokerStars is getting on its feet again and has rebounded after getting seized by the department of Justice few months back.
According to the statement of AGCC, they made a decision to suspend the license of Full Tilt Poker because of poor gambling practices. It means that they are not following the standards and are operating contrary to AGCC legislation. They also added that the suspension will be followed by a special investigation that caused by the accusations unsealed by US Attorney General's office in the southern District of New York City on April 15, 2011.

The statement also said that Full Tilt's operation did not reach the standards of Alderney laws. The suspension brings no worry for online poker enthusiasts, but when AGCC has announced that they are going to stop all activities on Full Tilt's site, the wave of worry comes through online gambling specially online poker communities because it was only a few months ago since Full Tilt and the two other online poker sites was got busted by the Department of Justice.

To make sure that the announcement and action made by the AGCC was isolated, IOM or Isle Of Man Gambling Commission have made their own announcement. According to them, they just want to make it clear that the license of PokerStars will remain and will not be affected by the statement coming from the GCCA in Alderney. This is also to make sure that the investigation of AGCC is only limited to Full Tilt poker, which means that players from other online casino and poker sites are not affected so they don't have to worry about their funds and accounts.

On the side of Pokerstars, one of the other sites that are seized along with Full Tilt, has issued a statement to give their customers the assurance that their funds are completely safe and they have nothing to worry about.

Customers from all other online poker and casino sites should not be worried about the suspension of Full Tilt because given that IOM and PokerStars have issued their statements to give their customers the assurance of safe online casino gaming, the suspension of Full Tilt Poker has nothing to do with other online casino and poker sites all around the globe. So that means the suspension is exclusively for Full Tilt only. Other online casinos under AGCC are still operating.
